30 Days of Thankful ~ #4

Today I am thankful for the fact that I still enjoy cooking. So many people I know NEVER liked it (daughter) or are sick of it (friends my age). I don't cook every night, but I still really take pleasure in finding new recipes and experimenting, as well as cooking the tried and true family dinners that everyone asks for and enjoys. One of my proudest moments was when Jack proclaimed, "You are the best cooker ever, Grammie!" Funny, we probably had grilled cheese sandwiches and homemade chicken soup that night!

I am thankful that feeding their bodies, feeds my soul.
