Conversations with Abbey are always interesting. She has been in a fun, feisty mood the last few days when I have picked her up from school.
Actual conversation:
ABBEY: Grammie, were you alive in the first year?
GRAMMIE: No, Abs, I am not THAT old!
ABBEY: Have you seen God?
GRAMMIE: No, I have not.**
**This is the answer I gave her. What I thought was ~ Yes, I have seen God. I have seen Him in your face. I have heard Him in your sweet laughter. I have felt Him when you put your arms around me.
When she is older, I plan to give her the real answer.
Thank you, Lord, for this little girl and all the joy she brings to my life!
