I am thankful for holidays. Life is made up, mostly, of ordinary time, but in between that ordinary time, we get reasons to celebrate. Decorating for each holiday, makes me happy. As I put out each silly decoration, I am reminded when I got a particular item and it makes me happy. When the grandkids ask to help me decorate the house, it makes me happy. Watching the next generation marvel at these holiday decorations makes me happy.
I am thankful for all holidays and the joy they bring to myself and others. Now, if only I could find a Groundhog's Day flag...
